How do they work?


/path/to/initscript/initscript <action> [undefined ...]

Actions are:
start - start service
stop  - stop service
restart - stop service if running, then start it
reload - reload service configuration (opt)
force-reload - force reload (maybe by restart)
status - output service status (opt)

Anything else the init script writer wanted...
